Made In Queens has been invited to screen at the QMA as part of the outstanding Queens International 4 Exhibition running from January 24 through April 26. The opening this Saturday sounds like a dope night out - freestyle BMX, DJ’s, and work of three dozen top local and international artists. Rumor has it the crew and a couple of the bikes may even be on hand. Big up to the borough where it all started. Get the lowdown here.

We are happy to announce our German premiere at the excellent Club Transmediale 2009 ‘Structures’ festival in Berlin. Made In Queens will screen on Tuesday 27th January at 18.30H amongst all the other excellent events at this diverse music and visual arts based festival. For tickets check it here. MIQ will have it’s Netherlands premiere at the excellent Manana event being held at Rotterdam’s popular TENT art gallery on Thursday 8th January at 20h . The event was created by local artist / curator extraordinaire BASCHZ and fellow Manana promoter JULSTAR. Big up for the event as it looks awesome. If you are in Rotterdam, please check it out as Baschz and Julstar have put in maximum effort to create a very special one-off art and film event.

We are super happy to be screening at Europe’s coolest documentary festival CPH:DOX in Copenhagen which runs from 07-16 November 2008. The opening party is hosted by none other than Justice and the Ed Bangers crew to mark the release of the new Justice documentary. Keep checking the festival site for exact screening dates.

We are happy to announce there will be a special event ‘Work In Progress’ screening of Made In Queens as part of the FLUX series at the excellent Hammer Museum in Los Angeles at 8pm on September 20th. The film is playing amongst a bunch of other great work including a Q & A with Chris Milk. To top it off, none other than Shepard Fairey will be on the decks at the after party.
